Rorke Data Signs National Distribution Agreement with Avid Technology
Rorke to be First Avid Distributor to Offer a Choice of Three Platforms: HP, Apple and Rorke Data’s High Performance Intel-Based Desktop Editing Solution
EDEN PRAIRIE, MN – April 18, 2006 – Video Broadcast industry specialist Rorke Data, a subsidiary of San Jose-based Bell Microproducts, Inc. -- NASDAQ:BELM, announced today the signing of a national distribution agreement with Avid Technology, Inc. for the AVID™ Xpress™, Avid Liquid™ and MEDIArray™ families of real-world, real-time DV, SD, HD and film editing applications for Mac and PC. Rorke will leverage its enterprise class integration facility for supplying Avid solutions to the channel based on three platforms: HP, Apple and Rorke Data’s High Performance XF11 Intel based desktop editing solutions.
