Leitch Approves Rorke’s ImageSAN ™ for dpsVelocityQ ™

LAS VEGAS —Leitch Technology Corporation (TSX:LTV;NASDAQ:LVID) announced today that Rorke Data ’s ImageSAN,a Fibre Channel-based shared storage solution,has been tested and approved for use with Leitch ’s award-winning dpsVelocityQ ™ multi-stream non-linear editing system.

Rorke Data,a subsidiary of Bell Microproducts (NASDAQ:BELM),specializes in data storage solutions forpost production and broadcast applications.The storage area network configuration certified for dpsVelocityQ includes Rorke ’s ImageSAN file-level SAN management software application,Rorke ’s Galaxy-60 2-Gigabit Fibre Channel storage array,and QLogic SANblade 2-Gigabit Fibre Channel host bus adapters.
