Leitch and Rorke Data Enter Into Digital Archive Alliance
Rorke to Provide Integrated Digital Video Archive Solutions for Leitch Users Worldwide

TORONTO — Leitch Technology Corporation (TSX:LTV; NASDAQ:LVID) and Rorke Data, a subsidiary of San Jose-based Bell Microproducts (NASDAQ:BELM), today announced that they have entered into an agreement to deliver integrated digital archive solutions compatible with Leitch’s broadcast video server platform, VRnet ™ . The archive solution will be shown in the Leitch booth(#SU4525) during the NAB show, April 5-10 in Las Vegas.

Per the agreement, Leitch will leverage Rorke Data’s expertise in deploying fully integrated and tested server/archive solutions on a worldw ide basis. Rorke Data’s solution approach is specific to broadcast workflow requirements and is designed to function seamlessly in today’s complex, heterogeneous digital video environments. With this global alliance in place, Rorke Data joins a select group of companies approved to work with Leitch in providing fully integrated broadcast solutions.

Extensive product testing has demonstrated both companies’ interoperability, fault tolerance, and easy-to-use applications.
