Emulex Provides High-Speed Connectivity for Rorke's Fibre-Channel SAN

Emulex Corporation (NASDAQ:EMLX) an industry leader in fibre channel products and technology, announced today that it is partnering with Rorke Data to demonstrate a wide range of video applications at the National Association of Broadcasters convention (NAB/Booth#L6061) in Las Vegas this week. The Emulex LP8000 fibre channel host bus adapter will be used by Rorke to provide SAN connectivity in more than 10 separate demonstrations, ranging from Non-Linear Editing to Special Effects creation, and operating over Microsoft Windows NT, Microsoft Windows 2000 and Apple Macintosh environments.
