As demand for Streamriver Networks' services continues to grow with its expanding client base, Rorke Data Systems will provide the scaleable hardware, software and support of a custom-designed SAN solutions specifically tailored to manage the stringent demands of Media 100's large, and expanding streaming media services operation.

The Galaxy 55's new chipset and unique firmware allows users to have increased speed and scalability by incorporating dual six-channel Fibre-to-Fibre RAID controllers (two host channels/four disk channels), HSSDC copper connections, and two built-in 2-port hubs. The StudioNet-FC system provides open, scalable fibre channel RAID storage (500GBs to over 7TBs), as well as integration with either tape-based, or DVD-RAM archiving systems.
