New "Selective Storage Presentation" firmware is now a standard array controller feature available within the RA4100 system. Using Selective Storage Presentation, storage administrators can now dynamically allocate and control access of storage to specific pre-defined hosts. This selective allocation, access and control of storage can be managed at a logical volume level, further ensuring higher security, minimizing storage contention, and increasing the utilization and sharing of your expensive and scarce storage hardware resources.
