Rorke has offered tape libraries as an archive or back-up device for over 15 years. We specialize in this area for healthcare and have a very experienced engineering team to provide answers to your most pressing archive questions. Our LTO line of libraries is available in a variety of configurations from 5U Rack dense libraries to enterprise PetaByte based solutions. 5U libraries scale from 12 to 44 slots while the enterprise solutions can scale to thousands of slots. This is a tried and true product line, the best quality tape systems in the industry. The GUI interface and IPS Smart technologies are essential for faster transmission of data and proactive library management.

 

The RTL-8204 model delivers a persuasive combination of low entry cost and easy capacity upgrades. This model supports one or two LTO full-height tape drives, giving users technology choices in compact 5U-high modules. Starting with twelve data tape slots, up to four, 8-slot expansion kits can be installed in minutes.

The IPSmart™ iSCSI option offers dual Gigabit Ethernet ports for greater data throughput. Adding a library to an IP SAN is quick and easy.

Rorke Data’s RTL-8000 Series offers superior performance and value for LTO Ultrium tape users. With capacities from 4.4TB to over 422TB, the RTL-8000 Series economically and reliably automates tape-based applications, whether backing up a single server or as an integral part of an enterprise-wide storage management solution.

The RTL-8000 family is comprised of six models, providing a broad range of cost-effective solutions. Housing one to eight LTO technology tape drives and up to 264 tapes. RTL-8000 multi-drive library models readily support concurrent reading and writing at data transfer rates exceeding 6.9 Terabytes per hour to meet the throughput needs of today's rapidly growing networks.

Finally the XLS line is our true scalable Enterprise line of products which scale to the petabyte range. High Availability options include hot-swappable redundant power supplies, true hot-swappable drives, and Q-Link, the web browser based remote library manager. Q-Link allows any RLS-Series library to be configured, monitored, diagnosed and managed from anywhere in the world. Using Q-Link, companies can deploy enterprise-class data protection without increasing staffs or degrading data security. Even firmware updates can be implemented remotely.
